Draft #3

Statement - This week I worked to refine my focus points by changing the aperture. I still struggled a bit with getting the right lighting with the increased shutter speed. In the future, I want to continue the work that I did this week as I feel it is getting better and better.

Draft #2

In this draft, I decided to focus on the bark of the trees. However, I also struggled with keeping it in focus. It always seemed to be a tiny bit out of focus. In the future, I would like to work with some more trees to find an interesting bark. I am also going to bring in one of my lenses to help create sharper photographs.

I tried to work on finding interesting textures that I could find around the proximity to the school. I found that both tree bark and sidewalks were a really interesting place to start. For my editing, I tried to use the black and white to sort of provide depth and interest to the photographs. In the future, I want to try to find more interesting textures like peeling paint for example

 

Exposure Work

Statement: I found two of the categories to be much easier to do. Both Light Painting and Panning were for me to complete. However, I struggled a bit more with the Blurred Motion and therefore only ended up with one quality picture. In the future, I want to work on that a bit more in my free time.
