Black and White Draft 1

Statement - This week I was only in class on Thursday. Because of this, I was only able to collect seven quality photographs. So far I think that this draft has proved to be really interesting and I think that I have started to be able to find which buildings will work for this project.

Editing Draft 1

Statement: For the first time this year I found a project where I struggled to be inspired, I just struggled to be interesting in creating a book cover. I have found out that I like photographs that are simple. Not much editing, just maybe black and white and a few touch-ups. I tried to focus on that when creating these designs but I did struggle to get inspired or interested in any of the designs that I did.

Draft #Best Of

Statement: During the course of this draft I found that I enjoyed the photographs I found that the pictures that were flat were extremely boring. For that reason, I choose to find barks of trees that were more interesting and had more depth.

Draft #5

For this post, I tried to refine my picture taking skills. I found that I enjoy the barks that have depth. However, this week I struggled with getting enough pictures that were in focus. I am overall happy with this draft. However, I would have liked to have more diversity.

Draft #4

Statement: This week I attempted two techniques. The first was where I tried to create a more mystical look with a lot more depth. The second was a more flat look where the majority of the picture was in focus. I found that I like the mysterious one better because of the style.
