Statement - Over the course of this project I have really tried to work to refine my work. I have figured out how to use angles to create an interesting background. I have also learned how to use lighting and f-stops to create a more interesting shot. That has been my focus of this class so far. I think that these photos ended up turning out really well. During Thanksgiving break, I decided to try to change the subject of the photos. I ended up taking photos of butterflies at the Academy of Science. Although these photographs are in a bit of a different style as they were not fully macro. The first shot could be one of the best photos I have ever taken.

Draft #4 - Photos from this week
Statement: This week was a difficult week for me to take photographs. Because of the rain I found it difficult to get detailed photographs that I would approve of. For that reason I ended up drawing from older groups of photographs. I am proud of the photographs although I don't think these will be my best.

Draft #3 - Golden Gate Park Trip! My Best Photos!
Artist Statement: On Sunday, I traveled to Golden Gate Park. My plan was to take photos of some of the interesting flowers that they have there. I ended up really focusing on the angle that I took the photo at. I tried to make an interesting angle that really provided great colors and interesting detail. Angle was my main focus for this week.

Draft 2 - Macro Photography
Statement: In this batch of photos I was lucky enough to get a few photos of a bee. I tried to maintain an interesting shape of the flower and interesting colors. I wanted to focus on making the background interesting or blurry. In the future, I am going to be using a higher magnification of 4:1 instead of 1:1.
